KupunaWiki was created in 2015 as a referral network available dedicated for our kupuna (seniors), who are seeking qualified professionals in areas of health, finance, senior housing, estate planning and real estate. Since then, this resource has grown to provide a wide range of information that is pertinent to our local senior community. KupunaWiki Radio, which will now be our podcast, is the latest step in fulfilling our desire to help, educate, and reach our kupuna to truly make Hawai‘i the best place for seniors to live.

Gayvial D. James, Local Taxpayer Advocate for Hawaii & Pacific US Territories from the Taxpayer Advocate Service discusses the services that their office provides as "Your Voice at the IRS" to help kupuna with their tax issues when they have exhausted the normal channels at the Internal Revenue Service and have nowhere else to turn to get assistance in resolving their tax issues especially when there are financial hardships involved.
