KupunaWiki was created in 2015 as a referral network available dedicated for our kupuna (seniors), who are seeking qualified professionals in areas of health, finance, senior housing, estate planning and real estate. Since then, this resource has grown to provide a wide range of information that is pertinent to our local senior community. KupunaWiki Radio, which will now be our podcast, is the latest step in fulfilling our desire to help, educate, and reach our kupuna to truly make Hawai‘i the best place for seniors to live.

Reiko Lewis, LEED AP BD+C, NCIDQ, CAPS, Principal, of Ventus Design discusses the services they provide such as interior modifications / remodeling as well as interior decorations and how Aging-In-Place does not mean simply installing equipment or devices. Aging in place also involves the psychological aspect of getting old. Considering age is undoubtedly essential, but it is more important to think about keeping a healthy mind and healthy body by incorporating the homeowner's hobbies and interests while creating spaces for people to enjoy doing what they love with their family and friends.
