KupunaWiki was created in 2015 as a referral network available dedicated for our kupuna (seniors), who are seeking qualified professionals in areas of health, finance, senior housing, estate planning and real estate. Since then, this resource has grown to provide a wide range of information that is pertinent to our local senior community. KupunaWiki Radio, which will now be our podcast, is the latest step in fulfilling our desire to help, educate, and reach our kupuna to truly make Hawai‘i the best place for seniors to live.

Dennis Hwang, Faculty from the University of Hawaii Sea Grant College Program, NOAA, and co-author of the Homeowner's Handbook To Prepare For Natural Hazards talks about how to be proactive and prepare for natural disasters using the Handbook as well as how to prepare during hurricane season (June 1st through November 30th) by gathering emergency supplies, knowing your hazard zones & creating an evacuation plan, and strengthening your home, and protecting your property.
